Hi Ed,
Personally, I have not been flying with insurance. I think that it is worth looking at though. A great place to start looking is at The Remote Control Aerial Photography Association, RCAPA. Some of their members are in our community and they have insurance available through their organization http://rcapa.net/insurance.htm

Also, among other agencies is Academy of Model Aeronautics, AMA. They can provide it as well:
